How we work
To find the right candidate we use an already broad network throughout the shipping industry combined with, database, searching, advertising and networking. All based on our long shipping experience.
Nordic Star work on a “no cure no pay” basis for all our clients. When we have agreed on a assignment, we charge nothing before the actual candidate sign up with the client. We charge a percentage of the first years salary upon signing of the contract between the candidate and the client.

Sales & Marketing manager – Repair Yard
Exciting Opportunity with Leading Mid-East Client
Our client, a prominent organization headquartered in the Middle East, is actively seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to oversee activities in the North European market. The successful candidate will be based in the company’s head office, so relocation will be required for those not currently residing in the region. Preference will be given to candidates of North European nationality.
Key Requirements
- 5–10 years of proven experience in shipping sales & marketing
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a relevant field
- Technical knowledge and a strong understanding of the shipping industry are highly desirable
- Experience in shipyards and/or seagoing roles will be considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively for business purposes
Role Overview
The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and managing client relationships within the North European market. Extensive travel will be expected as part of this dynamic position. The ideal candidate will possess deep shipping industry insights and demonstrate a proactive approach to sales and marketing strategies.

We are looking for a Charterer for an Oslo based Client, involved in European trade and smaller bulk vessels.
You will have experience and be “plug and play” ready, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience from similar work.
