How we work
To find the right candidate we use an already broad network throughout the shipping industry combined with, database, searching, advertising and networking. All based on our long shipping experience.
Nordic Star work on a “no cure no pay” basis for all our clients. When we have agreed on a assignment, we charge nothing before the actual candidate sign up with the client. We charge a percentage of the first years salary upon signing of the contract between the candidate and the client.

Senior Hull Plan Engineer / Stability
We have been instructed by messrs RINA to locate candidates as Senior Hull Plan Engineer / Stability employee in Norway. Educational background can be Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related field.
Majority of work will take place in Aalesund, Norway. However RINA can be flexible as to candidates’ domicile in Norway with home office, but frequent presence i Aalesund is required.
This role focuses on performing detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.
Projects could include the approval of new building, conversion, and existing vessels and yachts.
Native norwegian language and very good english is a must. Well seasoned Candidates (even retired) are welcome to apply
